SafeSport training required for 17+ referees

Performed during recertification on OMS + US Soccer Learning Center.

Risk Management (R/M)

ALL FYSA/FSR Risk Management expires eventually

for 18 years and older you can do it on FSR website during recertification

younger than 18 referees - not required

PLEASE DO NOT WAIT UNTIL DECEMBER TO RE-CERTIFY, WE ARE USING NEW LAWS OF THE GAME AND YOU NEED TO KNOW THEM BEFORE GETTING ON THE FIELD !!!

All referees affiliated with FIFA have a designated referee grade. The grade indicates the qualification of the referee to officiate at various levels of local, national and international soccer competition.

CHANGED in 2019/2020 - Prior referee grades 7, 8 and 9 are now referred to as Grassroots Referees. Prior referee grades 5 and 6 are now referred to as Regional Referees.
